Entry for the idle game jam.

Phew! I finally did it. This whole process has been a whirlwind. Like all game dev newbies, my original idea was so much grander and way more than I could accomplish. I've never built anything like this so of course I had to make two game systems that took me forever to figure out (quests and research). Which made me sprint towards the end so I could at least have something to turn in.

I know this game doesn't fit the theme "mutation" very well. Originally I had the creatures evolving and a whole crafting system, but I had to nix it to get things done.
Overall I'm very proud of what I did. My main goal was to create a cozy idle game that was also just pretty to look at and I think I did that.

Thanks for creating this game jam and I look forward to sleeping again.

Is the end content Lightning noodle? Either way, love the game, other then no save system (obviously not really required because it's a short game) but you never get instructions or a way to understand you have to upgrade and click the icons to start the bars of some things, so it took my a couple tries to figure out how to activate purple slime. also no offline/other tab progress, once again not required for a short game but I have no attention span. Love the game

Thank you for the feedback. Yes, it's just unlocking the lightning noodle. I know that isn't super satisfying for an 'end', but I made this game solo while working a full time job so I had to cut out a lot of stuff to make it in time for the game jam.
That's a good issue to point out. I'll think of ways to solve the research button UX.

Thanks for playing! I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Very fun game!

Thank you so much. <3

Did you draw all the art yourself???? I love the subtle animations in the background and in the flowers. The gameplay is also very relaxing and enjoyable!!

Thank you! I wanted to create a pretty game that you could let sit as a wallpaper.
No, I didn't draw the artwork. I list the links to the assets I used in the credits.
I did edit the free assets to fit the look of the game. The background and flower were made with ai.

Amazing visuals a really nice atmosphere while playing.

Thank you! I really wanted to make something that was relaxing and chill.
